How they got started
Founded by Jasper Nederlof and Stefan Janssen, supRmen sought to digitise property inspections, moving beyond traditional spreadsheets and subjective reporting.
For Nederlof and Janssen, the inspiration for supRmen stemmed from their passion for real estate and architecture. Nederlof’s experience with AutoCAD and photogrammetry sparked the idea of digitising property inspections in 3D.
In 2020, they discovered Trendspek, which brought their vision to life. The ability to create detailed, interactive 3D models of assets allowed supRmen to provide an unparalleled level of insight to clients in the real estate sector.
By combining aerial drone capture with advanced photogrammetry, supRmen provides detailed, interactive asset models that are securely accessible online. This innovation allows their clients to visualise properties, assess defects, and plan maintenance strategies more effectively.
"We decided to make it our focus to provide interactive, on-screen asset models to the real estate industry, and most specifically to property managers and inspectors."
“Being cloud-based, this solution makes it easier for them to see their assets and they are amazed by the possibility.”

Outcomes
Understanding the challenges of The Netherlands' housing regulations, which require cyclical inspections, supRmen leveraged Trendspek to offer scalable solutions tailored to property managers.
With Trendspek, supRmen were able to address visibility limitations for property managers and inspectors.
“For our customers, the property managers and inspectors, this was a big thing. Usually, they have stand-alone versions of software, so it made it difficult for them to share property images with their stakeholders or maintenance contractors.”
“When we started, they were just looking to have roofs inspected, and buildings with more than two stories presented a lot of issues. The accuracy of the inspection is important, as it’s what their clients use to inform their budgets for the next few years.”
With housing corporation properties clustered together, Stefan and Jasper harnessed the opportunity to increase their service, offering clients ‘flying days’ to deliver capture and modelling of multiple roofs and facades of properties.

Outcomes
Traditional property inspections often rely on subjective methods, lengthy processes, and limited coverage, resulting in incomplete or unreliable data. supRmen’s adoption of Trendspek has eliminated these inefficiencies.
Using aerial drone capture combined with Trendspek’s technology, supRmen produced highly detailed, interactive models of entire properties in a fraction of the time required by traditional methods, allowing property managers and stakeholders to inspect every detail without needing to visit site.
This shift has also enhanced decision-making, as stakeholders can confidently base their plans on precise, visual data rather than estimations or assumptions.
supRmen’s models have become a crucial tool for collaboration, enabling all parties involved—from property managers to contractors—to align on priorities and strategies.

“Before, the clients would get an excel sheet, but they have no idea what the condition of their property looks like. Now, they can actually see that broken roofing tile and make a more-informed decision.”
Outcomes
supRmen empower their clients by providing them with both comprehensive reports and the training needed to independently use the Trendspek platform.
This user-first approach helps clients unlock the full potential of the technology.
“We just want to make their jobs easier for them. There’s a huge shortage of inspectors here, too few to do the work, so we help them do more, in less time," says Nederlof.
The models enable clients to monitor assets continuously, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming physical inspections.
For example, housing corporations can now conduct annual reviews of their properties with greater efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving the safety and condition of their buildings.
supRmen’s journey highlights the power of leveraging innovative tools like Trendspek to transform industries, set new standards, and unlock unprecedented opportunities for growth.
“We know, if we want to be scalable, we need to invest in technology,” says Janssen.
“Overall though, we’re changing thinking, behaviour, and practice, and that’s quite cool to be a part of.”
