Trendspek, leading innovator in Structural Lifecycle Technology, has achieved ISO 27701 Certification for Privacy Information Management Systems following a successful external audit, the first of its rank to achieve this level.
Mitch Deam, Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer at Trendspek says:“Cyber security is a core pillar of Trendspek’s culture. We identified very early on the need for a high level of cyber security and information compliance, and we were amongst the first to achieve the certifications for ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. We continue to lead the field by achieving ISO 27701 and our commitment to GDPR compliance."
What is ISO 27701?
ISO 27701 is a world-class step forward for privacy and where sensitive data is concerned.
It is an extension to ISO 27001 and includes specific requirements in security and compliance relating to software development, hosting services, product support and the implementation of a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), providing guidance on how to act on data protection and privacy. ISO 27701 helps protect personally identifiable information (PII) whilst complying with regulations such as GDPR.
In addition to ISO 27701, Trendspek has successfully been re-certified in:
- ISO 9001 for Quality Management System
- ISO 27001 for Information Security Management System
Mitch Deam, Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer at Trendspek says:“The types of clients we work with demand this level of certification and commitment. With these three levels of certification, we exceed the needs of the client expectations and provide assurance that their information is safe with us."
ISOQAR, an independent auditor operating under UK Accreditation Service, certified the accreditation of Trendspek’s Quality Management System, Information Security Management System and Privacy Management System as determined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
